The Agulhas Current at the full model resolution of 1/12° (about 8 km). It runs down the coast of South Africa past Durban and East London, follows the edge of the Agulhas Bank and then turns back on itself south of the Cape in the Agulhas Retroflection, returning east as the Agulhas Return Current. Large rings break off at the turn and drift into the Atlantic. Four weeks of daily currents from the Copernicus global ocean model.
