Using these videos
The Moving Sea is made by Bart Gonnissen, a maritime pilot in Antwerp. Every video is built from measurements, ocean models or official stream atlases, and the sources are named under each one.
Free to use
- Watch, share and embed the videos anywhere, with credit to The Moving Sea and a link to themovingsea.org.
- Download them for personal use, teaching, school projects and non-commercial talks, with the same credit.
Ask first
- Any commercial use: in a product, an advertisement, a paid course, a broadcast or a company presentation.
- Some videos rely on data whose providers set their own terms. For commercial use we check these with you, video by video.
Custom work
A visualisation of your own port, terminal, fairway or project: currents, tides, ship traffic or a what-if scenario, made from the best data available for that place.
